Acne In Teens

Introduction: Teenage life, the time when your body is undergoing a rapid change as puberty hits, is also the time when most teens face acne. Acne in teens is not restricted to the face. It can be found on the body–back, hands, neck, chest–stubborn and persistent acne can be everywhere. As excessively produced sebum clogs the pores, they become a breeding ground for bacteria that eventually leads to acne.

Acne in teens: To combat acne, you can try:

  1. Medical treatment under a doctor.

  2. Over the counter available products like gels, creams, lotions, and serums.

  3. Non-prescribed topical treatments. These will include skincare products with ingredients that are scientifically proven to treat acne. Some of them are salicylic acid, and acetic acid that is usually found in acne treatment creams and acne scar removal creams.

  4. An oil-free and non-comedogenic skincare product.

  5. A gentle and mild face wash that cleanses without disturbing the oil balance of the skin.

Conclusion: Follow these tips to get rid of teen acne and see your skin get its glow back.
