Introduction : Sunscreen is important because it helps protect the skin from the harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun. UV rays can cause sunburn, skin damage, and increase the risk of skin cancer. Sunscreen should be applied to all exposed skin, and should be reapplied every 2 hours, or more frequently if swimming or sweating. It is also important to choose a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30 and that provides broad-spectrum protection, which means it protects against both UVA and UVB rays. As we all are exposed to digital gadgets atleast 4 to 5 hours a day, lookout for a sunscreen with blueshield protection. The main reason for damaged skin is not applying sunscreen. So whether indoor or outdoor , sunny or cloudy wear sunscreen always.
